Porn Actor Suspected of Grisly Killing Arrested
The man suspected of killing and dismembering his former lover was arrested in Germany on Monday.

UPDATE: Police in Berlin have apprehended the Canadian porn actor suspected in a grisly homicide, the BBC reports.
The arrest ends a days-long search after body parts were mailed to Canadian political parties and a torso was found outside of the suspect's old apartment building. Luka Rocco Magnotta is suspected to have killed Jun Lin, 33, with whom he'd had a relationship. The murder was videotaped and apparently posted online.
Friday, June 1: Canadian police have identified the victim of a grisly homicide as the hunt for the main suspect moves to France.
The victim was Jun Lin, a 33-year-old Chinese student who'd been in a relationship with Luka Rocco Magnotta, the porn actor who is suspected of the crime. The Associated Press reports that Magnotta is believed to have videotaped the slaying and dismemberment of Lin, and then mailed body parts to Canadian political parties.
The Guardian reports that Magnotta apparently flew to Paris last weekend, and police are "sure" he is in the country.
Thursday, May 31: An international manhunt is under way for Luka Rocco Magnotta, the suspect in a bizarre homicide involving the sending of severed body parts through the mail in Canada.
Interpol posted a profile of the suspect on their site on Thursday. Apparently, there is evidence that Magnotta may have left Canada, according to Montreal police. Magnotta, 29, reportedly works as a porn actor.
The CBC reports that police found a male torso in a garbage heap behind the Montreal apartment building in which Magnotta was renting on Tuesday. That same day, the Conservative Party of Canada received a dismembered foot in the mail. A second package addressed to the Liberal Party of Canada that contained a hand was discovered in a postal warehouse.
According to the Associated Press, the three parts belong to the same person based on preliminary testing. Police are investigating the possibility that other parts were sent in the mail as well. A video of the slaying and dismemberment is reported to exist.
The victim was in a relationship with Magnotta, according to the CBC. The unnamed victim, in his 30s, had been reported missing.
According to the AP, Magnotta has an online presence that has previously been associated with videos posted of cats being killed.
