Justice Breyer's D.C. Home Burglarized
The incident marks the second time the jurist has been the victim of a crime in the past three months.

Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer's home was burglarized earlier this month, the second time in three months that the justice has been the victim of a crime.
The high court confirmed Thursday that Breyer's Georgetown home was burglarized on May 4, with a suspect making off with about $3,000 worth of goods. No one was home at the time of the incident, however, a welcome departure from Breyer's last run-in with a criminal, when he was robbed at machete-point in the West Indies.
The Washington Post reports that while no court materials were stolen from Breyer's D.C. home, the burglar did make off with a pair of $500 silver candlesticks and a 100-piece set of silver valued at $2,500. Local police say their investigation remains open.
In February, a man armed with a machete broke into Breyer's West Indies vacation home and stole about $1,000 from the jurist, his wife and a handful of their guests. No one was hurt, and the burglar later turned himself in.
