Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer was robbed last week at machete-point at his vacation home in the West Indies, a court spokeswoman said Monday.

The Associated Press reports that the 73-year-old, wife Joanna and a handful of other guests were confronted by the robber at around 9 p.m. last Thursday in the home Breyer owns on the island of Nevis. The robber made off with about $1,000 in cash and no one was hurt, according to the court spokeswoman.

The AP has more here, along with a couple examples of other recent crimes involving justices.
