Baby-oncé has finally arrived. After lots of false rumors and tons of speculation, it seems the date that music royalty gave birth to an offspring has finally arrived. The Houston Chronicle and the E! network are reporting that Beyoncé and Jay-Z welcomed a baby girl Saturday night at Lenox Hill Hospital after a scheduled C-section. Some report the name as Ivy Blue Carter and others as Blue Ivy Carter. The Houston Chronicle even hears word she could be named Ivy Blu. Apparently Blu is an allusion to Jay-Z’s The Blueprint albums, and Ivy is from the Roman numeral IV, which is reportedly Beyoncé's favorite number.

Beyoncé reportedly checked into the hospital under the name Ingrid Jackson and rented out an entire floor for $1.3 million. There was so much concern that a photo could leak to the press that tape was put over security cameras and employees are being forced to turn in their cellphones when they arrive, reports the New York Daily News. There was a strong security presence around the hospital Saturday night.

Russell Simmons, a friend of the couple, was one of the first to publicly congratulate them on Twitter: “Congrats to my good friends Beyonce and Jay-Z,” he wrote. Rihanna also took to Twitter: “Welcome to the world princess Carter! Love Aunty Rih,” she wrote.
