"Friday" Most-Viewed YouTube Video of 2011

But don't worry, the top-10 list also includes the obligatory baby and cat clips.

‘Tis the season for year-end lists, and YouTube’s out with its top-10 most-viewed videos. As painful as No. 1 may be, it doesn’t exactly come as a surprise: Rebecca Black and her "Friday" music video.

All told, the video garnered more than 180 million views this year across all of its multiple versions on the video-sharing site. "One of the things she represents," YouTube trends manager Kevin Allocca explained to the Washington Post, "is the idea that anyone can enter our pop culture." (We've got a few other ideas on the things Black and her video represent, but in the spirit of the holiday season we'll keep them to ourselves.)

Thanks in part to Black, as well as to cute babies and even cuter animals, YouTube says that the site logged more than 1 trillion views in 2011. To put it another way, the website says that's about 140 views for every person on the planet.

Without further ado, here it is (the list excludes major music labels, fyi):

And for good measure, it's Friday...
