UPDATE: Casey Anthony will be a free woman in ten days.

Court officials said Thursday that Anthony will be released on July 17, 2011, having received credit for the 1,043 days she spent in jail since her arrest, Reuters reports.

Earlier in the day a court spokeswoman mistakenly told reporters that Anthony would be freed on Wednesday, July 13.

Original Post at 10:20 a.m.: A Florida judge sentenced Casey Anthony on Thursday morning to four years in jail for lying to police, but also gave the 25-year-old credit for the time she has already served since 2008.

Her exact release date will be determined at a later time, but given that she has already been in jail for nearly three years – and will get credit for good behavior – she may be released in late July or early August, the Associated Press reports.

Judge Belvin Perry sentenced Anthony to one year for each of the four counts of lying to investigators she was convicted of earlier this week. Those charges were by far the least serious she was facing in connection with the death of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee.

Anthony was found not guilty on Tuesday of first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter.

She will also be required to pay a fine of $1,000 for each count of lying to investigators, as well as court costs.
