3.  Republicans Promote Liz Cheney as GOP Star

Liz Cheney may be the second, sunnier coming of her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney. Father and daughter share many policy points, including a "willingness to pummel President Obama in stark, disdainful tones, not so much criticizing as taunting him," according to the New York Times. Some strategists wonder "whether the 'Cheney message' on national security—which essentially translates to an aggressive and interventionist approach—is something the Republican Party should be trumpeting, or burying," says the Times. But unlike her father, Liz Cheney seems to have a magnetic persona that draws crowds and pundits to her steady stream of speeches. Conservative columnist Michelle Malkin calls herself a Cheney "fan girl," and influential Republicans are pushing her to run for office, to which she responds, "We'll see."
